The Heights House

Designed on a steep slope, this residence has multiple staged levels with short runs of stairs to make best use of the site. Whilst a central staircase forms the core of the strucure, the planning and heirarchy of rooms is designed to minimise the need to move up and down staircases throughout the day. Walk in the front door at ground level to find yourself at first floor level overlooking the hills and sunset. The upper floor and living areas take advantage of views to the rear and bring in northern sun via large windows.

Point Lonsdale Renovation

An old low roofed weatherboard dwelling has a new life with this renovation to improve the street presence and create a more functional internal floor plan. It looks like a new build, but the living area footprint is the same. Care has been taken to re-arrange the floor plan in order to remove any previously wasted space, and give it back to the living spaces in a more functional way.

Geelong West Addition

A modern open plan addition to a californian bungalow. The complimentary style addition is completely modern, creating a clear distinction between old and new. The extension and rear yard face south, but solar energy, warmth and light have been brought into the living space from around the existing structure to the north.

Narrawong Home

Perched on hills overlooking the ocean in one direction, and overooking the forest in the other, this rural home is designed with passive energy efficiency in mind. The project required guidance through town planning and bushfire safety assessments.
